Press release from FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus.
Dear Western Thrace Turks, It is a fact that our minority is mainly engaged in agriculture. Our minority is paying the heaviest price in an unfair manner even though it does not have any share in the formation of the economic crisis in our country. Today, our minority is trying to face the severe economic condition. Especially in our region tobacco is mainly produced. The cessation of tobacco support premiums has left the minority helpless. It is our and our people’s expectation that these premiums are urgently reorganised and the issues resolved, so that our people can take a breath. Closing the doors to public employment to minority youth who have been raised in difficult conditions is a major blow. Such injustice is unacceptable. In our region, thousands of higher education graduates are unemployed. Unemployed youth are either forced to leave our region or are engage with agriculture. We no longer want there to be discrimination among citizens and want public employment rights according to our population. I share with the public that this request will be shared on every platform. I greet with deepest affection and respect our people. Best regards, Mustafa Ali Cavus President FEP Party Share
