FEP Party Attends ‘Democracy Rally’ in Edirne

The Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party to protest against the coup attempt in Turkey by the Fetullah Terror Organisation (FETO) attended the ‘Democracy Rally’ organised in Edirne.
After the coup attempt by FETO on Friday 15th July 2016, throughout Turkey for over 20 days ‘Democracy Watches’ have continued and within this framework Edirne’s Governor with participation from all political parties and civil society organisation organised a ‘Democracy Rally’.
The rally on Friday 5th August 2016 at Edirne’s Ataturk Square was attended by a 100 people from the FEP Party. The ‘Democracy Rally’ in Edirne attended by thousands of people was also attended by 100 people FEP Party group which consisted of FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus, Vice President Ozan Ahmetoglu, Vice President Refika Mehmet Adem and Central Executive Committee Members. Also Bulgaria’s DOST Party MPs Sabanali Ahmet and Aydogan Ali, Shumen Culture House Association President Nurten Remzi and 35 people from the DOST Party. The rally in Edirne was also attended by Western Thracian Turkey’s former Helath Minister and AK Party Bursa MP Mehmet Muezzinoglu. Mehmet Muezzinoglu and Edirne Mayor in their speeches noted the participation of people from Greece and Bulgaria and thanked them for their attendance. During the rally speeches were also made by Edirne Governor Gunay Ozdemir, Edirne MPs, political party representatives, professional association and civil society organisation presidents. In the speeches FETO’s coup attempt was condemned and messages of democracy and unity were given. FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus met with protocol members during the rally and stated the support of the FEP Party. After the rally, the FEP Party delegation headed by Mustafa Ali Cavus returned from Edirne. Share
