FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus Visits Strofi Village

On Monday evening 5th September 2016, Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus visited Strofi village, one of the villages where the school will be closed, and met with parents and village residents.
Mustafa Ali Cavus during the visits stated that his sadness in the closure of the school in Strofi village, that the decision is contrary to the international Lausanne Treaty giving the autonomous status of minority schools a blow with an intention to finish minority schools. As a minority we cannot put up with this and thus in my speech at Alantepe I invited all elected to execute joint action. The closure of minority schools will only serve assimilation. Mustafa Ali Cavus also stated his support for whatever decision the villagers take on this matter.
The village’s residents expressed that they definitely do not want the closure of the schools and have communicated it to the authorities. Mustafa Ali Cavus during this visit was accompanied by Secretary General Aydin Ahmet, CEC Members Huseyin Haci Mehmet and Ismail Salih. Share
