On Tuesday 4th October 2016, Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus gave a written statement in relation to a new investigation started on account of the expressions used during the FEP Party 4th General Congress about the Party’s founder and first President Dr. Sadik Ahmet’s death, and theft of the vehicle in which he lost his life.

Systematic investigations continue to be opened aimed at silencing, scaring and intimidating FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus and his colleagues, who loudly voice the injustices suffered by the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority.

Our country Greece ignores the legitimate demands of the minority and implements as it wishes the contents of the International Lausanne Peace Treaty regarding our minority and human and minority rights norms. Whilst also trying to silence and intimidate those endeavouring to proclaim to the world public the injustices.

FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus and his colleges will continue to be the voice of the oppressed people and voice what is just. If necessary, the FEP Party President and his colleagues will accept it an honour to pay the price for the everyday more oppressed and usurped rights of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish people.
