FEP Party Executives’ Meetings in Athens

Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party executives held meetings in Athens.
A delegation consisting of President Mustafa Ali Cavus, Acting President Ahmet Kara and Vice President Ozan Ahmetoglu carried out a number of visits and meetings on 13- 14th January 2017 in the capital Athens.
Firstly on Friday 13th January, the FEP Party Executives visited the Athens based Muslim Association of Greece. Here, FEP Party executives met with Association President Naim Elgandour and Vice President Mazen Rassas. After receiving information about the association, FEP Party’s executives carried out Friday prayer with the congregation in the association’s masjid. On the same day FEP Party executives came together with Anna Stamou, who was an MEP candidate during the 2014 European Parliament elections. During the meeting between Anna Stamou, an MEP candidate from the Eco Green Party in the 2014 EP elections, and FEP Party executives the political developments in the country and various cooperation opportunities were discussed. During the visit to Athens, the FEP Party delegation also met with Liberal Alliance Party’s former president Grigoris Valianatos. During the meeting with the FEP Party delegation and Liberal Alliance Party’s former president Grigoris Valianatos, who attended and made a speech during the joint minority rights event of the FEP Party and Greek Helsinki Monitor in Athens held in December, political events in the country were examined. The FEP Party delegation also visited the Young Academics Community, the institute of Western Thracian university students studying in Athens. The meeting with the students were very positive.
