We strongly condemn this nefarious attack, which we believe is aimed at silencing the Birlik newspaper and restricting the freedom of our minority to receive news.

The increasing pressure on the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority in recent times is to silence, intimidate and frighten minority people. These futile assaults will never stop this righteous struggle of the minority. It is essential that such attacks are urgently precluded so not to harm and disturb the peace between cultures and the peace of our society. As the FEP Party, we wish that light is shed on this attack and the offenders are brought to justice as soon as possible.
