FEP Party President, Honorary President, International Bridge Association President and Board Members Visit Trakya University Rector and Balkan Research Institute

On Wednesday 1st March 2017, a delegation consisting of Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus, FEP Party Honorary President Isik Sadik Ahmet and International Bridge Association President Serife Er and the Association’s Board Members visited Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoglu in Edirne.
During the visit, the Rector’s wife Dr. Nilgun Tabakoglu was also present.
During the visit, Western Thracian Assist. Assoc. Dr. Ali Huseyinoglu also accompanied the delegation. The meeting with Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoglu was friendly and positive. During the meeting, President Mustafa Ali Cavus explained the problems of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and emphasised the importance of educated and well equipped youth for the minority. International Bridge Association President Serife Er and its board members informed about the associations works and aims. Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu stated that they have a large number of students from the Balkans, and that they wish to increase this number further. He also explained that they have developed many projects for students with financial difficulties so that all students had the opportunity to receive an education. At the end of the meeting, President Mustafa Ali Cavus presented a FEP Party plaque and Honorary President Isik Sadik Ahmet presented a framed photograph of late leader Dr. Sadik Ahmet to Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoglu. Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu also presented a plaque to President Mustafa Ali Çavuş. After the meeting, the delegation accompanied by Western Thrace lecturers Ali Huseyinoglu and Utku Kirildokme visited Trakya University Balkan Research Institute and meet with the Institute’s Director Assoc. Dr. Bulent Akyay. During the meeting, views were exchanged about the Balkans between the International Bridge Association and the Institute. Share
