FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus explains the problems of the Minority at EFA’s Congress

Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus, attended the European Free Alliance’s congress in Poland, which is represented in the European Parliament and of which the FEP Party is a member.
FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus on Friday 31st March 2017 in Katowice – Poland at the EFA’s General Assembly presented the FEP Party’s declaration. The declaration of the FEP Party was accepted unanimously.
President Mustafa Ali Cavus stated that the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority, about a century ago was left in Greece with the international Lausanne Treaty and that many of the rights gained by the treaty. However, during this period Greece without consulting with the minority enacted many laws which dispossessed the minority of its rights. President Mustafa Ali Cavus also explained of the increasing pressure on the minority and the FEP Party within the last year, and emphasised the expectation of more intense support on this issue from EFA. EFA President Francois Alfonsi thanked Mustafa Ali Cavus and told that he had visited Western Thrace and observed the problems first hand and that the FEP Party has always been supported. President Mustafa Ali Cavus at EFA’s General Assembly was accompanied by FEP Party Secretary General Aydin Ahmet and FEP Party Public Relations Coordinator Cigdem Asafoglu. Share
