The event began with the reading of poems and hymns by the choir in the Mosque’s courtyard. Then the contestants were selected at random with a computer.
The contestants were; Merve Haseki from Evrenos, Ilkay Ismail from Dokos, Duygu Karamehmet from Meleti, Berkan Arabaci from Filakas, Havva Kamber from Esochi, Sude Salih from Plagia, Abdullah Kaplan from Komotini Baglar Neighbourhood and Ravza Kuru from Megalo Derio.
Merve Haseki came first in the competition. As the FEP Party we congratulate all the children and wish them success in their future. For us all the children are winners. We also congratulate their tutors. We would also like to thank Komotini’s elected Muftiate and Lykio for organising this competition.
