The event was held at the FEP Party Headquarters. Fatih Huseyin and Mustafa Sargo participated as speakers in which FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus, FEP Party Secretary General and Western Thrace Turkish Teachers Union President Aydin Ahmet, Vice Presidents Erdi Serif, Refika Mehmet Adem, Mutlu Osman Mustafa, Women Branch President Duygu Mustafa, Board Member Yesim Hasan, CEC Members and compatriots attended.

Firstly, FEP Party Youth Branch President Murat Ahmet made a speech and thanked everyone who attended. The speech was followed by a brief presentation of the FEP Party.

After the presentation Fatih Huseyin took the floor in which he explained the advantages and disadvantages of social media, how communication can be very fast thanks to social media. Besides this, according to the fields that people use it can cause serious time loss and can lead to occasional information pollution. Also, it can lead to social withdrawal, ego satisfaction and the desire of the user to share every moment on social media.

Then, Mustafa Sargo took the floor and explained the ‘Effects of Social Media on Major Social Events.’ Mustafa Sargo noted that social media has become a part of every stage of human life. Mustafa Sargo continued his presentation with videos and examples of major events in the world, in which social media plays a key role in social events.

At the end of the event Fatih Huseyin and Mustafa Sargo answered question from the participants. Lastly, Youth Branch Secretary General Gulsah Ahmet Ismail who was the moderator concluded the presentation by thanking everybody for their participation.
