Years ago the obstacles which had migrant children while attending the parade ceremonies and being flag-bearers still continue. It is saddening and also worrisome the continuation of racist obstacles to be put in front of migrant children who get education at public schools.

The latest example for racist attitude and attack on children of emigrated families was seen recently on Santorini island and Dafni Region, Athens. As a result of the racist groups’ reaction and notably Golden Dawn Party the migrant children are hindered to be flag bearer at ceremony and this inflict a deep wound on them. Because of the racist and fanatic people behavior who act with the obsession that the ‘immigrant children are not Greek” and similar events existed on 28th ΟΧΙ Day, National Holiday.

Emigrant and refugee families, who abandon their countries from different parts of the world because of the war and chaos , are the fact of Europe the world also our country’s.

Our prior expectation is the termination of xenophobia and racism which face immigrants and migrant children also the hate speeches which addresses different parts of the community.
