On Thursday 2nd November 2017, Turkey Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu, started his Western Thrace visit with the dinner given in his honor by Western Thrace Turkish Minority Consultative Committee. Afterwards, on Friday 3rd November 2017, Cavusoglu visited Western Thrace Imam Hatip High School Graduates and Members Association (BIHLIMDER) in Komotini. After that, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu, visited the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Consultative Committee President and Komotini Elected Mufti Ibrahim Serif in his office.

After the meeting at the Muftiate , Cavusoglu came together with people at Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB).

Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu together with his delegation went to the Celal Bayar Minority High School in Komotini. There , Cavusoglu got information about the school and at the same time visited the charity bazaar of the students. Cavusoglu and his accompanying delegation later moved to Xanthi region.

Turkey Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu began his contacts within the framework of Xanthi first carried out the Friday prayer with the public at the Cinar Mosque in Xanthi . After the Friday prayer, together with his delegation visited Xanthi’s Elected Mufti Ahmet Mete in his office. Afterwards, Cavusoglu came together with people at Xanthi Turkish Union. Finally, he visited Muzaffer Salihoglu Minority High School in Xanthi.

Cavusoglu by completing his program at Xanthi city center visited Balkan region’s villages of Xanthi ,Echinos and Kentavros and addressed the people.

Lastly, Cavusoglu went to (Dilina) village where he spent his childhood and youth years and addressed the people who were waiting for him. After Dilina visit, Turkey Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu completed his visit in Western Thrace.

As FEP Party, we believe that Greece visit of Turkey Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu will strengthen the friendship and neighbour relations between Turkey and Greece.
