10th DECEMBER WORLD HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

On the anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights adoption , 10th December was declared The World Human Rights Day and is as current as ever, but also is under threat than ever before.
All kinds of human rights are trampled in Middle East , civil wars and terrorism has not stopped yet. The mentalities which are leading the region into a spiral of violence by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital have to change their mind immediately. Nobody in their right mind can tolerate more blood and more tears!
After the second world war the world confronts the biggest refugees and migrants problems in recent years which caused by civil wars and we go through a period where respect is not shown to the most important human right which is the right to life. In addition, our country Greece is a member of European Union for 36 years and at every opportunity it expresses that respects democracy and human rights values. However , it is obvious that Greece does not respect Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority people’s human and minority rights. The continuation of discrimination and injustice in the fields of education, freedom of religion, freedom of association and on other fields reveals that the issue of human rights in our country needs to be handled seriously once more. On this occasion, we congratulate the Human Rights Day of Western Thrace Turkish Muslim Turkish Minority, our citizens’ and all nations of the world. We wish the development of friendship, love , respect among people without discrimination of race, religion, colour, age and gender. Share
