FEP PARTY LEADER MUSTAFA ALİ ÇAVUŞ VISITED KOZDERE VILLAGE

Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party Leader Mustafa Ali Çavuş, visited Kozdere village located on the balkan area of Komotini and performed the friday prayer together with villagers and after the prayer made an speech in front of the mosque addressing the people of the village.
After the prayer FEP Party Leader Mustafa Ali Çavuş started his speech by greeting the public, he said that “Since the day we were left as a minority with the Lausanne Treaty, the problems of Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority are still continuing. They also try to get our existing rights too. No progress can be reported on the problems of the associations carrying out the word of Turk that have been closed down, on the problems in education, on the problems of mufties. We expect immediate measures to be taken for the economic development of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority which is confirmed as the poorest region of the country by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTA).”
Lastly Ali Çavuş, thanked to Kozdere people who had owned his struggle until now and thanked for the warm interest that they had shown to him. FEP Party Share
