After the prayer FEP Party Leader Mustafa Ali Çavuş started his speech by greeting the public, he said that “Since the day we were left as a minority with the Lausanne Treaty, the problems of Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority are still continuing. They also try to get our existing rights too. No progress can be reported on the problems of the associations carrying out the word of Turk that have been closed down, on the problems in education, on the problems of muftis. We expect immediate measures to be taken for the economic development of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority which is confirmed as the poorest region of Greece even of Europe by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT). After the death of our Leader Dr. Sadık Ahmet Minority people started voting different parties. But any political party was enough for the Minorities problems”.
Continuing his speech Mustafa Ali Çavuş; told that they filed a criminal complaint against the racist statement of the former Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece Theodoros Pangalos “the best Turk is dead Turk” who has told on a radio program.

Lastly Ali Çavuş, thanked to Kara Kurcalı people who had owned his struggle until now and thanked for the warm interest that they had shown to him.
