FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus Visits YAC Athens Branch 21.12.2016-13:56
On Monday evening 12th December, Friendship Equality Peace Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus, after the roundtable meeting about ‘ ‘National Minorities in Greece and Recommendations by International Organisations’ organised jointly with the Greek Helsinki Monitor at the Athens Journalists’ Union visited the Young Academics Community (YAC) Athens branch.
During the visit, President Mustafa Ali Cavus was accompanied by Acting President and Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association President Ahmet Kara, Vice President Ozan Ahmetoglu, Vice President and Xanthi Turkish Union Vice President Ismet Tuccar, Secretary General Aydin Ahmet and CEC Member Mustafa Sargo.
FEP Party President Mustafa Ali Cavus and his delegation were welcomed by YAC Athens Branch President Mutlu Erkek and its board members. President Mutlu Erkek expressed his upset about the event held at the Athens Journalists Union being attacked by the racist Golden Dawn Party and informed about the YAC Athens branch.
President Mustafa Ali Cavus addressed the youth and explained the FEP Party search for rights. He added that the attack on the event will not affect them nor stop them from searching for rights. Further, Mustafa Ali Cavus emphasised the importance of youth getting a good education without forgetting their identity to be useful people for their families and communities.
Following the speeches, there were conversations with the youth and ideas were exchanged about issues affecting youth.
